Community Members
Per UIUC Club Sport Policy:
Only students, faculty, staff, and spouses of faculty may be a member of a club sport. This, unfortunately, means that any community members that do not meet this criteria can no longer be an official member of the UIUC Climbing Club.
What does this mean for our community members?
You can still rent gear! You will still have to pay a membership fee of $25/year as a community member renting gear.
We made a facebook page to help community members meet people and plan trips!
Community members are still welcome to post in the main Facebook page to ask questions.
In order to avoid confusion and uphold university guidelines, we have labeled each upcoming event as either “Student Only” or “Open to All.” Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
