USA Climbing Collegiate Team
The UIUC Competitive Climbing Team is a subgroup within the climbing club for those committed to improving their climbing abilities and compete at the collegiate level across the midwest. The expectations of each team member are listed below:
- Attending weekly practices at the ARC Climbing Wall (Mon. 9-11pm) as well as occasional UB practices
- Having an interest in competing
- Putting genuine effort into improving your climbing abilities both during and outside of practices
* The $65 dollar USAC membership fee will be covered by the team, but money for jerseys and actual competitions is your responsibility. We do provide need-based financial support to help make sure that these expenses are not a barrier to competing.
